The Top 10: Johnny Cash

     Johnny Cash is more than a country music singer, he is an American legend.  Johnny was a master of bringing the everyday American's story to song form.  His discography is not just a playlist, but a national treasure.  In late March, an album Johnny recorded in the 1980's titled Out Among The Stars was released for the first time and hit number one on the country charts.  To celebrate, Keep It Country Kids proudly presents The Top 10: Johnny Cash.  Cutting down Johnny's massive song collection to 10 was near impossible, but I feel this is a great, but tiny, collection from The Man In Black.

     George Strait is the King of country radio.  With 60 number one hits and countless other charting singles, he is the most successful radio artist of all time.  George has risen to the top because he has mastered the art of staying fresh and modern while never sacrificing his roots and style.  The result is a sound that fans young and old can listen to together and equally get something from it.  Riding high from Entertainer of The Year wins at the CMA and the ACM awards and his farewell tour, George Strait's career has never been hotter.  To honor the King as he hangs up his cowboy hat, Keep It Country Kids presents The Top 10: George Strait.

The Top 10: Dierks Bentley

     Dierks Bentley is one of the most interesting artists in country music today.  He strives to stay relevant and yet strives to make music that matters.  Dierks has had his fair share of radio and critical success, even if he seems to be ignored on the award show circuit.  With his superb new album Riser recently released, Dierks is a perfect candidate for the next installment of The Keep It Country Kids Top 10.

The Top 10: Alan Jackson

      Alan Jackson has been a stalwart of country music since 1989.  Alan found a way to mix the traditions of yesterday with modern elements to create a sound in the mid to late 90's that sold millions of records and kept traditionalists happy.  Alan is a living legend, and narrowing down his career to 10 songs was a daunting task, but here goes my best shot at it.

In a new feature on Keep It Country Kids, we will countdown the top 10 songs from different artists.  We will range from the big headliners of today, to legends of yesteryear, to the under-the-radar artists who have been making great music over the years.  Today, we start with one of country's biggest stars: Eric Church.  With The Outsiders selling so well and "Give Me Back My Hometown" climbing the charts, it seems like the perfect artist to kick off our series right now.  Without further ado, here are the top 10 Eric Church songs.
